KOMODO ™ 6K merupakan pendatang baru dalam jajaran kamera sinema RED. KOMODO 6K hadir ke pasar dengan melakukan terobosan sensor shutter global (27,03 mm x 14,26 mm) yang mempertahankan standar kualitas gambar RED yang tinggi. Kamera ini dikemas dalam kubikasi kecil yaitu 4 inci (101,6 mm) dan berat hanya 2,1 pon (0,95 kg). KOMODO menyertakan fiturfitur yang dirancang khusus untuk pembuat film profesional dan pembuat konten yang menginginkan visual kelas atas menggunakan kamera yang mudah, ringkas, dan serbaguna.
Tidak hanya memiliki bentuk yang kecil dan berbobot ringan, selain dibekali sensor shutter global 6K, tetapi juga memungkinkan pengguna untuk memanfaatkan dudukan RF serbaguna untuk mendapatkan fleksibilitas pilihan lensa. KOMODO juga dilengkapi layar sentuh resolusi tinggi untuk menavigasi menu dan meninjau rekaman, fokus otomatis phase-detect, output video 4K, dan kompatibilitas dengan aplikasi RED CONTROL untuk pengaturan menggunakan kabel data maupun nirkabel.
Dudukan RF
KOMODO dapat menerima adaptor lensa berbasis dudukan RF Canon untuk variasi pilihan lensa. Selain itu juga mendukung Canon EF dengan komunikasi elektronik melalui adaptor dudukan RF Canon yang kompatibel, dan mendukung lensa RF yang dioperasikan secara mekanis (Manual) meskipun saat ini kontrol elektronik lensa RF Canon belum di support.
